Mazda CX9 2009-2015 ID63 DST40 emergency key for smart remote key - genuine

This genuine D6Y1-76-2GXC Mazda emergency key fits into Mazda CX9 smart keys used on models from 2009-2015. Importantly this emeregency key has an ID63 DST40 transponder chip inside it unlike later model Mazda emergency key blades.

The CX9 models from this era use a twist knob ignition and the transponder chip inside this emergency key can start the car when the battery in the smart remote is flat.

The emergency key is on the very common Silca Maz 24 or JMA MAZ-11D key profile and will need to be cut to match your existing emergency key.

These emergency keys can be used to open doors or the boot when the battery in the smart key remote stops working, hence the name emergency key.
