Mazda CX9 2009 - 2015 - 3 button genuine TEY7-67-5RY twist knob SKE11B-04 proximity remote

This genuine 3 button Mazda smart key can be used with a number of Mazda models as long as the orignal key has the same Model SKE11B-04 printed in the slot where the emergency key fits as shown in the attached images.

This specific model of proximity remote works with the Mazda CX9 models using a twist knob ignition, not a push button start.

The information in this table is intended to be used as a guide only. Your key must have 3 buttons and must have the matching Model details (see below) to be compatible with this one.

This type of smart key can only be coded using specialist diagnostic equipment connected to the vehicle.

PLEASE NOTE UNLIKE OTHER MAZDA EMERGENCY KEY BLADES, THE ONE NEEDED FOR THIS VEHICLE HAS AN ID63-DST40 TRANSPONDER CHIP INSIDE IT - THIS ALLOWS YOU TO START THE CAR BY INSERTING THE EMERGENCY KEY BLADE INTO THE TWIST KNOB ON THE IGNITION. A STANDARD EMERGENCY KEY BLADE WILL NOT WORK ON THIS VEHICLE.

This key is supplied with a battery fitted and the type of battery used is available to order under compatible items.

The average price for one of these genuine remotes from a Mazda gealer is around $1500.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
