Jeep Cherokee KL series 2014 - 2018 4+1 button aftermarket smart proximity key

This top quality smart proximity key can be used with Jeep Cherokee KL models built between 2014 & 2018 which have an ID4A transponder chip inside. This model is also sometimes known as the Liberty.

The manufacturers part number printed on the original OEM keys can be a little misleading, as there seems to be a variety of keys with the same part number printed on them but not all of them have the same transponder chip.

Please have your original key scanned to ensure the transponder type matches this one or bring in your key and we can confirm which type you need.

This key can only be coded to the vehicle using diagnostic equipment by a licensed person. We can do this at our workshop in East Victoria Park. Please call and book an appointment on 08 6110 2693.

We do not generally sell this key online as it requires very specific tools to load the data to the PCB to make it compatible with your car.

The emergency key blade is included in the price and uses the common JMA CHR15 profile as used with most Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles.

As this key is an aftermarket part it does not feature any logo on it but has a 14mm recess on the back where a logo sticker can be fitted.

The key has the UNLOCK, LOCK, BOOT & REMOTE START buttons at the top and the red PANIC button at the bottom. It does not matter if your original key has this panic button or not as far as compatibility.

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Swallowing or placing a button cell battery inside any part of the body may lead to severe or fatal injuries in as little as 2 hours or less due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
