ATA PTX 2 V2 smoked black garage remote with 2 grey buttons

Used extensively for both garage sectional and roller doors and automatic gates the orange button PTX-2V1 version has now been replaced with the PTX2-V2 which uses increased encryption for added security against cloning. 

The ATA PTX2 V2 uses the same round black shell and now has 2 grey buttons instead of the older black & orange version.

As these remotes are designed to be waterproof it is very important to note that to change the battery you must carefully screw off the back cover. There is a slot in the center of the back cover which can be used to do this. You can use a 5 or 10 cent coin to help screw it off without damaging it.

The remote also features a loop that can be used to attach it to a key ring or even allows it to be worn around the neck on a lace or lanyard like a pendant alarm. 

This remote is upgraded to 128 bit encryption for added security but otherwise works exactly the same and is backward compatible with all of those 64 bit encryption systems as shown in our photos.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
