Seip Gryphon SKR433-3 garage door remote control

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

The Gryphon Seip SKR433-3 is the latest remote released from the German company. This remote can replace all previous SKR433 remotes and is very compact with a metal key ring attachment which offers good security. 

Some of the older SKR433 remote controls had issues with cases breaking and we see lots of them with sticky tape around them. One of the main benefits of this new SKR433-3 remote control is that it has a metal plate running through the middle of the case and this make is much stronger and more durable that the older versions.

To change the battery on this remote there is a sliding battery cover on the back so you do not need to take the case apart as was the case with the older versions. The front and back sections of this new SKR433-3 are screwed together again making the whole remote more secure and giving a more assured feel.

The buttons on this remote control are slightly recessed below the surface of the remote casing to avoid accidental activation and they have a responsive feel when pressed. The new SKR433-3 is also smaller than the SKR433 black and gold remote and the SKR433-1 oval light & dark grey remote making it easier to fit on your key ring.
