Ford compatible 4 button remote for BA, BF, FG FALCON, Focus, Mondeo, Transit

The codes used within this remote are the same as many other Ford remotes fobs, remote keys and flip keys and it is also one of the remotes we can generate using our remote maker software so you can combine your key and remote into a flip key for less than the cost of a genuine remote and key. If you see the photos you will see the other remotes and keys which use the same code.

Many of our separate remotes fobs such as this one here can be programmed to your vehicle yourself and we provide instruction on how to do this with all such remotes. The instructions will usually have pictures of which buttons to press in the car or very specific instructions on what you need. In almost all cases this takes less than 5 minutes to complete and some such as the Ford remotes can take as little as 2 minutes to program to your car.

If you have any issues during programming please call us and we will talk you through it. If you are not confident about programming the remote yourself just select the Click & Collect delivery option and then bring your car to our shop during business hours and we will program the remote for you.

Where you wish to integrate your remote and key into a flip key this will need to be done at our shop as we do not have a mobile key cutting service.

We offer a 12 Month Warranty on all aftermarket remotes, so you can buy your new remote with full peace of mind and confidence that should there be a problem you are covered. There are many different types of aftermarket remote and we only stock remotes we have tested and are satisfied are made to a good standard. Warranty does not include the battery.

We have seen sellers online selling remotes with the Ford logo claiming that they are genuine but when you open them is is obvious they are not. Take a look at our photos showing what to look for inside the remote to confirm it is a genuine Ford part. You will notice the genuine one has a unique battery cradle. We have yet to see this in an aftermarket remote and so you will see the difference straight away. Please take care when changing the battery in your remote as we see many of these where the battery cradle is no loner soldered to the circuit board as somebody has tried to force the battery to get it out. This list is not intended to be an absolute an so if you currently use a remote that looks identical to this one and your vehicle is not listed above please feel free to get in touch and we will confirm if this remote will work for you.

This remote can of course be used to replace the 3 button version which was used with utes which just featured the lock, unlock and panic button. In these instances the boot release button on this remote will not work as the vehicle will not have the necessary wiring for it. Some vehicles that used this 3 button remote include the Ford Falcon Ute, & Ford Territory.

It can also be used to replace the 2 or 3 button remotes which have no panic button (the red button). Vehicles that used these include the Mazda Tribute, Ford Explorer, Ford Escape & Ford Transit. Again if your original remote did not have a boot release then the boot release will not work on this remote and the same applies to the panic button. Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
