This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This quiet distinctive looking remote from Remote King can be used to replace other remotes on the 433.92 mhz frequency made by Cyclops for a variety of car alarms, immobilizer systems or just as central locking systems.

Many of our separate remotes fobs such as this one here can be programmed to your vehicle yourself and we are happy to provide instruction on how to do this. The instructions will usually have pictures of which buttons to press in the car or very specific instructions on what you need. In almost all cases this takes less than 5 minutes to complete and some such as the Ford remotes can take as little as 2 minutes to program to your car.

Depending on how the system was fitted to your vehicle, this remote may be used just as an immobilizer, or as central locking or as an alarm remote. We see all sorts and that is all fine.

Please take great care when replacing the batteries in these remotes as they are a little fragile. This remote takes 2 x CR2016 batteries and you should always change both together, never mix new and old batteries.

If you are not confident about programming the remote yourself just select the Click & Collect delivery option and then bring your car to our shop during business hours and we will program the remote for you.
