This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

Rhino & Co make a number of home security systems, car alarms, immobiliser and central locking systems. This remote only works with the GTR car alarm system.

This remote here may look identical to the GTTX AND GTSTX but they are all different.

THERE ARE 2 OTHER REMOTES THAT LOOK IDENTICAL TO THIS ONE. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE COLOUR OF THE LED - THIS REMOTE HAS A GREEN LED AND IS FIXED CODE, SO IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE REMOTES WITH RED OR YELLOW LEDS WHICH USE ROLLING CODE TECHNOLOGY.

This remote being fixed code can also be copied in store as long as you have a working remote to copy from.

Many of our remotes fobs such as this one here can be programmed to your vehicle yourself and we are happy to provide instruction on how to do this. The instructions will usually have pictures of which buttons to press in the car or very specific instructions on what you need. In almost all cases this takes less than 5 minutes to complete and some remotes can take as little as 2 minutes to program to your car.

If you have any issues during programming please call us and we will talk you through it. If you are not confident about programming the remote yourself just select the Click & Collect delivery option and then bring your car to our shop during business hours and we will program the remote for you.
