Toyota Camry 1997-2002 1 oval grey button genuine 89780-YC030 remote control

This genuine Toyota remote was used with:

Toyota Camry models between 1997 and 2002.

It importantly operates on 303.9 MHz. It is important to note that even though this is a genuine Toyota part it does not feature a Toyota logo as with most of their other remotes.

There is an older oval grey button remote also that was used between 1994 & 1995 but that remote has metal edges and so is easily identified from this remote here. The older remote works on 315 MHz.

There is also an oval black button remote which also has metal edges but again that one is not compatible with this remote.

This remote has a sealed case and the battery is NOT replaceable as it is soldered to the PCB.

These remotes tend to last around 10 - 12 years on average. Once the battery dies in the remote you will need to replace the remote.

Many of our separate remotes fobs such as this one here can be programmed to your vehicle yourself and we provide instruction on how to do this with all such remotes. The instructions will usually have pictures of which buttons to press in the car or very specific instructions on what you need. In almost all cases this takes less than 5 minutes to complete and some such as the Ford remotes can take as little as 2 minutes to program to your car.

If you have any issues during programming please call us and we will talk you through it. If you are not confident about programming the remote yourself just select the Click & Collect delivery option and then bring your car to our shop during business hours and we will program the remote for you.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
