Nissan Maxima 2003 - 2004 4 button 433.9 MHz remote control

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

If your remote looks identical to this one and is used with a Nissan Maxima model manufactured in 2003 or 2004 then this remote is the one you require. The FCC ID on the back of your remote should read KBRASTU15.

This remote can also be used with the following vehicles but as the original remotes for the vehicles listed below did not have a boot release button, the boot release button on this remote will not work as the vehicles simply do not have the necessary wiring in place.

This remote operates on 433.9 MHz.

Many of our separate remotes fobs such as this one here can be programmed to your vehicle yourself and we provide instruction on how to do this with all such remotes. The instructions will usually have pictures of which buttons to press in the car or very specific instructions on what you need. In almost all cases this takes less than 5 minutes to complete and some such as the Ford remotes can take as little as 2 minutes to program to your car.

If you are not confident about programming the remote yourself just select the Click & Collect delivery option and then bring your car to our shop during business hours and we will program the remote for you.
